How can you help improve access to care? Find out

The Academy is convening a forum for members to share ideas on how to improve access to dermatologic care for patients and other physicians. The fourth annual Access to Care Learning Collaborative will be held on Friday, March 1, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., at the Marriott Marquis; Georgetown University Room during the 2019 AAD Annual Meeting.

Members are invited to attend the forum, which will feature TED-talk style cases, five minutes or less, describing how access was increased to better serve patients. Panels will present on three important aspects of access:

  • Approaches to increase access to care by collaborating with other specialties or physicians
  • Using Teledermatology and AccessDerm to reach rural and other underserved populations
  • Increasing diversity in dermatology

The casual forum allows for a participatory experience, with multiple opportunities for Q&A, in cocktail-hour atmosphere (yes, there will be wine available). RSVP to Cierra Martin at
