Lasers, light sources, and energy-based devices…oh my!

When using lasers in dermatology, it’s important to know how to optimize results in order to avoid complications. In this popular returning session, “Lasers and Light Sources in Dermatology” (F002), director Arisa Ortiz, MD, and expert faculty will emphasize how to avoid complications by reviewing topics such as laser, light source, and energy-based device safety; recognizing safe and unsafe clinical endpoints; and diagnosing, managing, and avoiding complications.

Throughout the session, expert dermatologists will give presentations, including “New strategies to target pigment in all skin types,” “What’s new in skin tightening and cellulite?” and “The skinny on noninvasive body contouring.” By the end of this session, attendees will be able to assess appropriate guidelines for assessing treatment parameters for these procedures.

This session will be held on Thursday, July 26, from 9-11 a.m. in Grand Ballroom B.
