Firsthand education opportunities abound at the 2018 AAD Annual Meeting with more than 130 hands-on sessions, where attendees can enhance existing skills or learn new ones.
The hands-on sessions include Patient Encounter Workshops on diverse categories, such as “Breaking Bad News,” “Giving Feedback,” “Medication Management,” “The Difficult Patient,” and “Total Body Skin Exam.” Multiple session times are available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the meeting.
Another long-running hit are the specialized hands-on workshops occurring on Monday, Feb. 19. These sell out quickly — at press time, the following workshops are still open:
- “Hands-on: Fire and Ice! Electrosurgery and Cryosurgery” (W005)
- “Hands-on: Varicose and Telangiectatic Veins” (W011)
All hands-on courses are eligible for MOC self-assessment credit. Register in advance for these popular interactive sessions.
