Session to cover practical approaches to psoriasis

Learn about the importance of assessing patients for both psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis in “Practical Approaches to Assessing Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Patients in Clinic” (W002)  from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, July 28.

Alice B. Gottlieb, MD, PhD, will direct the session, which will feature presentations on the use of different validated tools and scales for the clinical assessment of disease severity and quality of life in patients. Attendees also will be able to learn about using clinical assessment results for selecting an appropriate treatment regimen to produce improved patient outcomes.

The session will have five didactic presentations, interactive patient assessment demonstrations, and virtual patient assessment experiences. Attendees will also receive implementation tools consisting of laminated pocket cards, reference booklets, score cards, checklists, and apps, as deemed appropriate by expert faculty. These resources will ensure practicality and aid participants in improving their clinical practices.

This session is free and does not require a tuition fee, but a registration ticket will be required for admission.
