Director of NIAID slated for Plenary talk on ending HIV/AIDS

Rounding out the Plenary lectures during the 74th Annual Meeting will be guest speaker Anthony S. Fauci, MD — the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Fauci will give a talk, “Ending the HIV/ AIDS Pandemic: An Achievable Goal.” Since his appointment as NIAID director in 1984, Dr. Fauci has overseen an extensive research portfolio devoted to preventing, diagnosing, and treating infectious and immune-mediated diseases.

This lecture will be given in Hall D on Sunday, March 6 from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
