Panel presentation to address accreditation system

0226-AccreditationThe decision of American Osteopathic Association, ACGME, and American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) to form a single accreditation system for GME residency training programs in the United States has lasting implications for the dermatology specialty. Meeting attendees who are interested in the future of residency training and the inclusion of DOs in dermatology residencies and fellowships will want to attend a panel discussion, “Unifying the Dermatology Specialty: Trends in Training” from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 22.

Attendees will hear from a distinguished panel of both DO- and MD-trained physicians as they explore the rationale, implications, and impact of these upcoming changes in resident education.
