Get out your smartphone and send us a film!

Video Screen Shot

Feb. 2, 2015, is the deadline to enter the Annual Meeting video contest.

We are kicking off our inaugural Annual Meeting video contest (a/k/a “the Academy’s Awards for Best Short Film”). Send us a short video — no more than a minute long — about why you’re attending the AAD’s 73rd Annual Meeting in San Francisco or why the Academy’s Annual Meetings are important to you. We will overlook technical proficiency (a smartphone video will work just dandy) and we will choose from the most inventive, creative, and interesting videos. Prizes will be awarded to the best. We may even use your video as part of our Annual Meeting promo reel! And if all that’s not incentive enough, there are excellent prizes to be won, as well!

How to enter

  1. Create a video that is 60 seconds or less about why you’re attending the 73rd Annual Meeting in San Francisco, or why you love attending AAD Annual Meetings. Be creative!
  2. Upload your video to YouTube.
  3. Fill out the video contest entry form by Feb. 2, 2015.

Contest details

  1. The contest began on Dec. 1 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Feb. 2, 2015.
  2. Once the contest ends, Academy staff will review video submissions and choose the top three videos based on creativity and compliance with official contest rules.
  3. The winner will be notified via email or telephone on or around Feb. 13, 2015. Prizes will be mailed or emailed to winners.
