“The ‘pearls’ topic is well known to many physicians, especially dermatologists,” Dr. Tomecki said. “There will be eight speakers in the two-hour span, each covering whatever he/she deems interesting and clinically relevant as it relates to patient care, based on the literature, personal experience, and individual expertise.”

Gary Goldenberg, MD, one of the session speakers, will provide pearls and review the literature regarding clinical and pathological correlations. “Interpreting a pathology report may require reading between the lines. What’s the pathologist really saying? What should you do with an atypical or dysplastic nevus? What about the spongiotic dermatitis you thought was psoriasis?” Dr. Goldenberg said.

Other invited speakers include Christopher C. Gasbarre, DO; Joan Guitart, MD; Douglas W. Kress, MD; Jose Dario Martinez, MD; Natasha Atanaskova Mesinkovska, MD, PhD; and Theodore Rosen, MD.

“This is a great session to add to your Summer Meeting schedule because it has something for everyone,” Dr. Tomecki said.
